Weetbix bar

I must say I have been a little lazy for the past couple of weeks when it comes to lunches. Some days I just can’t keep up. Who doesn’t get a little sick of it? This week I made sushi for the kids. Sushi is regular in our house its fresh, filling and healthy. It’s also a little fiddly. So If you decide to make this for your little people its best to be organised and make them as you go. If they are made the night before they don’t go yucky like if you made them all up in one go. So I cooked the rice and cut up all the ingredients put in containers in the fridge. This ways its easier when you do lunches the night before. If your kiddies love sushi this will be a hit!

Weetbix bar

7 weetbix crushed

3/4 cup of rolled oats

1/2 cup plain flour

Pinch of bicarb

Tin of condensed milk

50g of melted mutter

3 tablespoons of coco

Crush the weetbix up add the rest of the dry ingredients to the bowl then add the condensed milk and melted butter and mix through. Spread out on to a lined slice tray. Put in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 mins. Take out and let cool. Once cooled refrigerate for 30mins.

This is a little sweet but yummy. I wouldn’t let my kids eat this every day but its nice to let them have a treat every now and then. Cut into 1cm width bars keep in the fridge or freezer.
